The Duc de la Rochefoucauld sends his regards to Monsieur Franklin, and thanks him for the good news from America that he was so kind as to give him. He sends him his translation, on which he has made some corrections, two of which are long enough to be put on separate pages; if Monsieur Franklin approves them, and if he would send back the manuscript to the Duc de la Rochefoucauld, he will undertake to have it copied and to send it to the Journal.
