I have received but one Letter from you since March 1788, and that was dated in September last; a French Packet is arrived at New York by which I hoped to hear from you, and to receive my last Year’s Account, but have been disappointed. I hope nevertheless that you and your’s are well and that it will not now be long before I shall have the pleasure of learning it from your own hand, and also of receiving my Account.
