From the Duc de la Rochefoucauld (unpublished)

The Duc de la Rochefoucauld sends Mr. Franklin his best regards and is honored to present him with his translation of Mr. Franklin's Remarks on the Savages of America, which he sought to render as close to the original as possible; he is quite upset that the bad weather has prevented his delivering his translation in person and having news of Mr. Franklin, about whom he often inquires of Mr. L'Abbé Rochon.

The entire family sends their best wishes.
