From Madame Brillon: before November 30, 1778
Tuesday morning

Madame Brillon sends to ask after Papa Franklin’s cold. She has received a letter from his friend and hers, Mr. Le Veillard, who entrusts her with his respects and kindest regards to give to papa. He will return on Saturday or Sunday to pursue his plans regarding the Academy. Madame Brillon hopes that Papa Franklin will be so good as to look into this affair as well, as any interest he should wish to take in it would have great influence.

Madame Brillon hopes that papa will come tonight, to have tea and to beat her at chess.

Addressed: To Monsieur / Monsieur Franklin / At Passy
