From Edward Bridgen (unpublished)
London Novr 29 / 85
My Dear Sir

I just snatch a moment to inclose you, thro’ the hands of a Friend, Mr. Slubey, who is going in the packet, a letter from the worthy Bishop of St. Asaph which I receiv’d from him yesterday.

If I have not before, I now most heartily congratulate yourself, Family, Friends, and Country on your safe arrival in health, at Philadelphia, of which I should be happy to hear the continuance of.

Some little time since I troubled the bearer also with a letter, and a pamphlet from the good Doctor Price for you; and hope to hear of the Success of the fixed Air in your troublesome complaint.

Bundle up my Dear Sir all the best wishes of your best friends and they will express those of Your Excellency’s Faithful and Obliged
