As you know the respectfull attachment I have for him, and to let me know whether my lettres of october the 9th 1784 with an inclosed to mr Williams at Nantz, one to our Samuel wharton, and our Samuel Lewis wharton at Philadelphia, is come to hand, and the inclosed forwarded. You know who much I am concerned in the affairs of these two last gentlemen; and therefore I asked some advise and information about them of you perese that lettre, you may perhaps be able to give me some light in these affairs. remember me kindly to my respectable friend B. Franklin, and, if possible, persuade him to write me some words. I am Dear sir Your most obedient humble servant
