From Antoine-Alexis Cadet de Vaux (unpublished)
March 29, 1784

Mr. Cadet de Vaux presents the assurance of his very humble respect to Monsieur Franklin.

His request for the corn flour has been made; the moment it arrives, he will be informed.

The chimney stove works marvelously. M.M. Legrand and Molinor will have the honor of going with me one day to give Monsieur Franklin an account of it.

M. Cadet asks Monsieur Franklin to accept a copy of the two enclosed memoirs, and to give one as a present to M. l'Abbé de La Roche and the other to M. le Veillard.
