The inclosed Letter from Mr Limozin speaks of two Americans confined in Prison in Havre. I do not understand the affair therefore can say nothing about the Justice or injustice of it, but as Mr Limozin mentions his having sent a full acct of the Matter to the Doctor, and as Capt McNeill in his Letter says the Doctor does not know the Cause of their Confinement, I apprehend there is some mistake, which you perhaps can set right. I therefore send both the Letters.—Pray let Mumford get me some Paper for my press (a Ream of each size) Mr Grand will take care to send it.
