I have received your Favr of the 11 Inst. & thank you for all your Friendship, in answer to your Question about my Brig I do suppose her outfitts will cost something less than 40,000 Livres, from this will come what she may be estimated at in America & the difference will be what the Public will have to pay when she arrives. She may cost considerably less, but whatever it is I mean the real & not supposed amount to be the Standard.
