Since I had the honour to write you the 3d. June, I have had the pleasure to receive your favour from Passy July 7th
Believe me, I do with the most cordial sincerity assure you of my grateful acknowledgments, for your various, repeated, & continued favours & exertions in my behalf—
& tho it is not much, I cannot but [?] you my best wishes for your health, happiness & the full completion of your every wish—
I am sorry that my projects have been so unfortunately placed;—but will endeavour to submit with the best decency I can.—permit me, my friend, yet to hope for your opinion & advice as occasion may serve, or ideas occur to you—I shall ever seriously attend to it—& will endeavour never to dishonour it. I must request that you would both for yourself & yours, command me whenever & in whatever you may judge me competent.—& believe me, what I feel myself to be, your affectionate friend & oblidged humble servt.
