From Antoine-Alexis Cadet de Vaux (unpublished)
January 14, 1784

Mr. Cadet de Vaux has the honor of presenting his respects to Monsieur Franklin, and he announces that the flour made from corn is currently in Paris. He proposes, if Monsieur Franklin so wishes, to have this flour brought to Passy by the cart of the man who brings the water.
