The American Commissioners to the Baron de Thulemeier (unpublished)

The object of the Commission with respect to the completion of a Treaty of Amity and Commerce between the United States of America and His Majesty the King of Prussia was communicated in the subsequent Letter to the Baron de Thulemeyer Envoy extraordinary from His Prussian Majesty at the Hague: viz

Passy near Paris Septr. 9th. 1784
Sir

The United States of America in Congress Assembled judging that an intercourse between                  plan of a Treaty which has already been transmitted by your Excellency to your Court whenever a full power from His said Prussian Majesty shall appear for that purpose.

We have farther the honour to request of your Excellency that you would transmit this information to your Court, and to be with great respect, Your Excellency’s Most obedient and Most humble servants
