I have at last made out, as is annexed, a List of those imperfections which I wish you to get cast for me, agreeable to a former request. This List you would have received sooner, only for the difficulty attending the making one any way correct: And it is possible many sorts will yet be wanting, after those mentioned in this List are procured.
The Office is very deficient for want of Dashes and Braces; all the founts being entirely destitute of those Useful Ornaments; from which we experience many inconveniences, particularly in figure Work; of which there is much done. The Types I shipped by Capt. Hyde I hope you have received. In a few days I shall forward the Gros Romaine.
The English Papers which come regularly, I had ordered to be sent you immediately after the arrival of the Packets; they were however by mistake of the Boy in the ship mislaid, of which I had no information, and consequently expected they had reached you.
