Nessessity oblidges me at this time to address a few lines to Your Excellencey which for fear of taking up Your time from the Multiplicity of busiseness I apprehend You at all times have on You hands I will strive to be as explicite as possible. The Subscriber is Administrator to the Estate of Robert Smith house Carpenter deceas’d he has settled all his Accompts with the diffrent persons who had any demands or Otherways against the Estate Except Your Excellency I have advanc’d very Considerably of my own property to answer the demands against the Estate notwithstanding the other heirs to the Estate will not Advance one farthing till I settle with Your Exellency. There is now a debt belonging to the estate which as Administrator I have been su’d for and My property now in the hands of the Sherriff of Chester County to be disposd of in a few days which I have no way of preventing except You would be Kind Enoughf to assist me in the discharge of Said debt which Amounts to about £130. If it should seem Agreeable to You to Assist me in the discharge of the Above mentiond debt till we can come to a Settlement and in case there does not appear one farthing in favour of [the] Estate of Robert Smith deceas’d I will deposit in your hands a Sufficient security to re    the Money advan’d by You in a short time after Settlement.
