In 1777 it was Reported you had Sent to Congress a packett All Clean Sheets of paper. I now transmit to your Excellency Something Similar hoping your Self and our late worthy Commander in Chief will now in the advanced periods of life Fill them; you are the two the only two on whome the People now depend. I have the honour to be Your most humble Servant
