I take the liberty to send you the inclosed letter wrote by a Merchant in Nants to Mr. Geo: Woulfe, my particular friend. this Gentleman prays me earnestly to recommend the writer m. Nanty to the Honourable Doctor Franklin, to whom I explained this affair several months ago. pray him, I beg of you, to read this poor man’s letter, and be so kind as to inform me what answer I may make to Mr. Woulfe, and likewise the state of his health at present. I am myself a little indisposed these three or four days past. otherwise I would this day pay you both my respects.
