Your Request, my Child, that I would consider the Case of your Husband, is a reasonable one, and I shall certainly do it before I can think my self qualified to judge of it. But as I may be call’d upon to do that officially, it must be extreamly improper for me to give you my present Sentiments of it as you desire. Your Concern for him and Endeavours to serve him, are natural and laudable, considering your Connection and it were to be wish’d that your prudent Counsels might prevail with him to change that Conduct of his Paper by which he has made and provok’d so many Enemies.
