Mme. Helvétius has spent a rather peaceful night, although she slept little. She did not cough much, but her phlegm does not come up perfectly easily. Her lower belly is still a little tense. Her pulse and skin are fairly supple. She has been brought more frequent broth which she takes with pleasure and which goes down well. She has no discomfort and very little fever. There were two intestinal evacuations this morning which had all the signs of digestion. We continue to administer expectorants combined with the mildest laxatives.
