I beg leave to introduce him to you as a worthy and sensible Gerntleman, who having received great pleasure, and much valuable information, from the Philosophical and other Writings of Doctor Franklin, will be very happy in an opportunity of expressing in person his respectful regards for the Author.

You some time ago desired I would return the manuscript Copy of Doctor Jeffries’, aerial voyages. I am much obliged for the loan of it; and now return it by Mr. Erving.
