Dear Sir

I wrote to you last week & expect to hear from you in America in mean time give me leave to present Mr. Hoops to you as a deserving young officer, he is at present a Prisoner to the English & is going to the Military School & has les bonnes despositions possible—

I have given him a Line to Monsr Le Chevalier Karalio who desired me so to act when reason offered. Any Civilities shewn this young Gentleman will be esteem’d as an addition to the great Debt of obligation I owe you. I am Dr Sir Yours Sincerely
