Mrs. Strange informed me a few days before she left Paris that you would be so good as to convey to America under your cover whatever letters any friend of hers might wish to Send thither. As a friend of Mrs. Strange I therefore beg the favour of you to send the inclosed to Mr. Griffin. One of them is from his Lady’s Aunts, and, I suppose, contains nothing of any importance. You may open it if you judge proper. It was sent me Sealed.
