From John Vaughan (unpublished)

D Sir,

Upon looking over my Brothers letter I find 10 Guineas to be the sum mentioned, and I have the pleasure of sending you a check for 9 which makes up the £21. received on account of Brabanzon. I have letters from home of 24 April. Sarah had been dangerously ill but was recovering fast. Rebecca was getting rid of her Intermittent and the Whole family going to Enmouth to pass the Summer. All Desire to be warmly rememberd to you and your family. Dr. Priestly was at My Brother Williams. Illuminations &c for the Kings recovery estimated to cost not less than 300,000. Every Individual exerting his utmost upon the occasion. The rejoicing perhaps full as much at the escape as at the recovery. The Prince very unpopular. Your respectful and affectionate

Jn Vaughan

The Cheese sent should be kept some time before it is used to do it Justice
