From Mrs. Dorcas Montgomery (unpublished)
Sunday Morng. 28th. Octr. 1781

Mrs. Montgomerys Respectful Compliments wait on Doctr. Franklin. and is very sorry that Indisposition prevents Her waiting on the Doctor to Day—But flatters Herself with that pleasure in a Day or two.

Mrs. Montgomery would much esteem the Honor of a Letter for Geneva, when the Doctr. has Leisure, as there is a probability of her setting out for that place on Wednesday next.

Addressed: His Excellency / Dr. B — Franklin
