You will oblige me much by sending me by the Return of Post a Certificate Signed by the Doctor declaring that the Limits fixed by the Terms of Peace to decide the validity of Captures were to any part of the Ocean not south of the Canaries, & that a vessell in a more northern Latitude in any Longitude was under the Protection of the Treaty after the Expiration of the Time fixed.—I have occasion for this to settle a Dispute about an Insurance. A War preminum being demanded on a ship which was in Peace Having sailed From Phila. the 10 March. I am Yours affny
