My Dear Sir

Give me leave to introduce to you Mr. Vanderkemp Who Has taken a Noble part in the Unfortunate Revolution of Holland, and Has suffered Much on that Account. He is more particularly Recommended to me By the fine Characters of My Acquaintance Among the patriots. I entreat Your Attention and patronage in His Behalf, and through You Have the Honour to present Him to My friends in Pennsylvania—With the Most Affectionate Respect I Have the Honour to Be, My Dear Sir Your humble servant and Sincere friend
