This is to Acknowledge the receipt of your obliging & Polite Epistle of the: 5th. Instant Inclosing a Letter from the Friend of Monsr. L’Abbe Arnoux. Permit me to Request you’ll do me the Honor of making my most Respectfull Compliments to Him & Assure Him I shall ever Feel the most lively Esteem & Respect for the Exceedingly polite Attention He has been pleased to manifest to my Son, in His Letter of Recommendation to His Friend at Lyons—That I shall feel myself Happy in & shall not fail of Repeating those Assurances by every Oppy. when on the other side the Atlantic—That I shall not fail to Command my son to Express my most gratefull Sentiments to Monsr: Jaume & Family for their polite & kind Testimonies of Freindship to him at Lyons—
