Sir,

After so many Years Forbearance you will not take it amiss that I now once more remind you of my having your and your good Sister’s Bond for [Sixty?] Pounds given in December 1769 of which no Part has hitherto been paid either Principal or Interest. Having lately been engag’d in Building, and the Expence as usual far exceeding the Expectation given me by Workmen, I am constrained to collect what I can of old Debts, which through my Absence in Europe near thirty Years have been long neglected and many of them lost. I must therefore request you would be so good as to discharge this Bond without farther Delay which will much oblige Sir, Your most obedient humble Servant
