Sir,

Inclosed you will be pleased to receive an Act of the Legislature of this State for appointing Deputies to a Convention proposed to be held in the City of Philadelphia in May next, for the purpose of revising the Federal Constitution.

Our General Assembly were induced to pass this Act in full expectation that the several States in the Union would Co-operate with us in this desirable Object. I have the Honor to be, with the Greatest respect & esteem, Sir, Your most Obedient and very humble Servant,
