Andrew Limozin to William Temple Franklin (unpublished)
Havre de Grace 19th July 1785
Sir

I have Spoken with the Master of the Sloop. his terms are 40. £ ster for the Freight of the Goods & passengers. he will allow 4 days to unload the Goods, & four extra lying days paying him one Guinea & half for each of these four extra lying days. he will not go under other terms.

those of the Master of the large Ship are 50 Guineas, freight of the Goods & Passengers, 4 lying days, & 50 shillings. pr day of demeurage exceeding the Said four days.

thus I think that preference ought to be given to the Master of the Sloop his terms being more moderate. I have promisd an answer to each Master against four o Clock in the afternoon.

I remain with the Greatest & highest regard. Sir Your most Obedient & very Humble Servant

Andw. Limozin
