We recive’d, By the Hand of Mr. Wallace Jonshon & Muire off London, a Letter of Mr. John Hosking Stone merchant in the City of Annapolis in Mairland, with an invoice of goods for the value, about, of £10000 tournois. We pray, your Excellency, to tell us, if we may Place great Confidence in this Gentleman, and execute his orders.

Great relations, that we have with maritimes City, have Given Knowledge of our house to Americains Established During the Last war at Nantes and Lorient.

It is not the first time, which we received orders, but the prudence, to the Date of peace, Did interdict all operations with them. According your Counsel, and that we hope of your Known goodness, we will Lay hold of all opportunitey to may trade with our new firends and to our mutual Advantage. We are much humbly yours most humble and obedient Servant
