Benjamin Vaughan to William Temple Franklin (unpublished)
Octr. 12, 1784. J. Sq.
My dear sir,

Pray oblige me by giving the bearer Mr. Godwin such information as may occur to you respecting Animal Magnetism, as he is translating the Commissioner’s Report.

I am hourly expecting leave from the Duke of Northumberland & Mrs. Child, to visit their houses; & when received I will immediately inform you, your father, & Count Mirabeau.

Col: Leigh came into the city on purpose to tell me, that my letter found him out of town, and that they have lately taken down the furniture of the four rooms at Carlton House; but that after Decr. they will be again worth seeing. Yours ever affy.

Benjn. Vaughan
