Loving Kinsman

I received your Letter of the 24th past. On Enquiry I do not hear of any Opening at present, in which you might expect Employment as Clerk to a Merchant or Office. But, as you express a Desire of seeing Philadelphia before your Return to Boston, if you should call here in your Way, I will give you some Writing to do for me, which may enable you to subsist some time here, so that you may have an Opportunity of making your self known, and of recommending your self by your Good Behaviour to such Employment as in the mean time may happen to offer. I am, tho’ you are personally unknown to me, Your well-wishing Uncle
