May it please Your Excellency

Philadelphia October 4th 1787

Having engaged in a daily publication of the Debates of the Members of the General Assembly which may furnish useful information to the Citizens of Pennsylvania—I beg permission to furnish the honorable Supreme Executive Council with a few Copies in the manner other Periodical papers are admitted if there is nothing improper in the request—with your leave I will add further that a similar application which I made last Week to the Genl Assembly was Successful. With the highest Respect I have the honor to be Your Excellency’s Most obedient and Very humble Servant
