It may Seem Strang, that a person (that is, and likely to remain an Entire Stranger to you) Should adress you. The affair I am going to write to you about has something of humanity in it tho it does not Concern me. A young man nam’d Price Hughes Ship’d himself for Philadelphia in the year 1760 with a resolution of never writeing to his friends because they had ris’d him ill: Now his oldest Bror. was Burried the 31st. of Decr. last by which means he is Heir to an Estate of About £150 a year. If you would advertise him without doubt (If living) he would reward you. He was Born at a place Call’d Claggin the the Parish of Llan Boulan, or Llandryyarn he is about 40 years of age: It is Thought that his Bror. left about £7000 behind him in Cash which he had by Marriage, his wife Died about a Month before him. I Should have but small thanks from his friend if they knew of this; the Parishes beformentiond are in the Country or Isle of Anglesea North: Wales.
