I am very happy to hear that Articles of Accommodation are agreed upon between your good Uncle and the Bank. I hope nothing will intervene to prevent their being signed: as every thing interests me that may contribute to the Happiness of a Family I love.
I have no doubt from what I have heard, that the Knave formerly mention’d to you is the same Mr. W. has now laid hold of.
My Health continues much the same as when you saw me last, except a little Gout, which is going off. I have sent all my heavy Packages to Rouen by the Boat last Wednesday, but when I shall go my self is yet uncertain; and if I knew the Day I would not name it to you, because I would not have you make any Preparations to entertain us: much less, while it is doubtful when I can go, since naming a Day may afterwards prove inconvenient to one or the other of us, if the Appointment should or should not be kept; and we desire nothing as we pass and call to take leave of you, but Tea and Bread-and-Butter, if we shall have time to take that. My Grandson will do what you desire of him. Ben presents his dutiful Respects. My Love to all, from Your affectionate Uncle
