From Henry Hill (unpublished)
Philada. Octo. 19th. 1788
Dear Sir

If the conditions I have to propose could induce you to draw a Bill of Exchange on my favor for 1000 Sterling the good purpose I have in view would be answer’d very acceptably by my being thus enabled to accelerate a remittance to London by Capt. Clay who sails on Wednesday.

I would take it for 12 or 18 Months certain on interest, or be subject to repay the whole or any part on demand within 3 Months after the receipt of it, and that in Cash or Bills of Exchange on London—in either case depositing in your hands security as compleat as can be, short of Specie itself.

I am with utmost truth and fidelity Dr. Sir Your most obedient Servant &ct.
