Honourable Sir

The Success your Arms, in your Cause with England have been attended by gives the greatest room to hope that you Shall gain the point, you Seek for, Independency; in that Case you may not esteem it amiss, to have in the ports of france a Consul, or Agent your representative, tho not having the Advantage of Being Known by you, I take the Liberty to offer my Most Devouted Service for Such a place in this town.

Mr. Grand Whose Confidence I have Merited for this Many years, Will give you, of my house, any Idea which will make me the Deservers of yours. I Shall Esteem it a happiness Equal to that of Convincing you, of the respectfull Sentiments, of Honourable Sir Your most Obedient and Humble Servant
