I could neither see the Count nor de Rayneval so I left the packet for the one, and a short Letter for the other. We shall expect you on Tuesday, and at same Time I expect to hear from you that your Friendship has procured for me a promise of the LS, but the SC en poche. I shall be obliged to you if you will endeavour to have the SC as long as you can, they are granted as readily for 6 months as one, my reason for this is to have a certainty of one in case of my unforseen failure of the other. Adieu mon cher pardon si Je vous donne de l’embaras vous m’avez appris d’attendre bien des Choses de votre amitié. Apporte nous de bonnes nouvelles de notre cher et respectable Docteur.
