Dear Friend

I have a great mind to begin my letter with hard scoldings for your neglecting so long writing me however, If you have ocasion direct to Watson Copoul Co. N.2 Bihiter Square, where we shall be very happy to pay you our respects when you arrive in England—Can I request your attention to two little commissions and as their is a Lady in the case your gallantry will certainly lead you to the execution In short one of the most accomplished Lady’s in the City of my particular acquaintance, she reveres your Grandfather, wishes to ware him in her bracelet—elegantly executed in minature. You’l infinitely oblige me to imploy some celebrated artist to execute it in the most finish’d manner—agreable to the Inclos’d pattern or size—I suppose it can be taken from one already done—If so, I shall hope soon to be in possession of it—besides, this I would wish to purchase a very handsome Watch to be sent by the same conveyance for a Lady—let it be elegant & tastely—I suppose from 10 to 15 guineas price will be about the thing—Pray send them both by the same conveyance—& the moment I receive your acco. of 7. [?]—I will remit you my draft upon my banker. I beg you’l make my respectful compliments to Your venerable grand father—& believe me with every sentiment of esteem Dr. Sr.
