After Living Lovingly together 43 y[ears] in wedlock With the wife of my youth, who is now no more. She was a good wife Mother Misstress and a friend to the poore, in all these Characters She did excell. In her Sickness She niver discover’d the Least doubt of her future Will being. She had the most Nateral Courage Restution and Stiddyness of mind that I ever New in any of her Set. Aunt Mecom is poorely a good deal overCome by the Loss of her Niece for She was her bosom friend She Could unbosom to her more freely then to anyone except yourSelf. My wife after being Confined about ten days died on Mondy. Her Life went Just as the Sun was going down Calm without a grone or the Least Strugle. Her disorder was a putred fever. If She had Lived to Augt She would have been 72 years Old. You will please excuse my being So perticuler as I know you like perticulers that relate to any of your famly. I now feal What the Poat Says—off from my Side the dearst half is torend—the rest Lays bleeding and but Lives to M[ourn?]. I pray God to Support and Comfort you no[w] that you are arriv’d to a good Old Age. Belive me Ever Your Dutifull and affectionate Nepew

Jona. Williams
