To William Vaughan (unpublished)
Philada. May 15. 1788
Dear Sir,

I was much griev’d to learn by yours of Jany 5. that your good Mother, whom I esteem infinitely, and your amiable Sisters, had been so much afflicted by Illness. I hope however that the Air of Hackney has prov’d salutary to them. Please to present them my affectionate Respects and best Wishes, in which this Family joins, and also our thankful Acknowledgements of their repeated Kindness in sending us such excellent Cheese. With great Esteem, I am, Dear Sir, Yours sincerely

B Franklin
