From A. Bermbach (unpublished)
Niederselters, the 8th. of August 1782.
Most Highly Honored, Highly Learned, Most Highly Esteemed Sir!

The uncertainty of the mails being sent to America these days makes me take the liberty to more than trouble Your Excellency with the connection.

The circumstances of the previous matter may kindly be inferred from the same.

Therefore I beg Your Excellency humbly to have the kind disposition of enclosing the accompanying requisitions missive with the necessary couvert, and to arrange the address in such a manner that it may reach the proper authorities in Philadelphia, and by them is made known to Theodor Mieger [Minger?].

I am willing and ready to perform all kind of occurring agreeable services in return, and I commend myself to Your Excellency as your most obedient

A. Bermbach [?]
