Colonel Johonnot Presents his best Compliments to Mr. Franklin, beggs him to Accept his Most Sincere wishes for his Enjoyment of every degree of Happiness thro life: hopes he will excuse his not Paying him that declaration in Person, which nothing but the Necessary attention to the departure of his Son for Geneva on Tuesday Morng, & his own for Orleans Tomorrow Morng, could possibly prevent. He beggs the favor of a line from him to Mr. Williams & any french Merchts. he may be Acquainted with in Nantes on the General Principle of Commerce, so far as he may from Information have come to the knowledge of his Abilities for that branch.—hopes to have the favor of his Correspondence while at Nantes, which will be improved with the Greatest Avidity.
