I have frequently been with three of the within signd Gentlemen, all natives of Ireland and seemingly very honourable men, and to my certain knowlege and observation they have (aided by by [sic] Mr. Robert Temple done every thing in their power here to comply with the terms of their parole agreement, both at the admiralty, and Board of Sick and hurt Seamen, as well as that they have stated their case to the Secretary of State for the American Department and prayd for relief, but all to no effect.
