I should be much obliged to your if when you Write to the Doctor you would please to insert the following in a page of yr. Lettr. & acquaint him that it is at my request Viz:

When Mr Carrol of Carrolton, & Mr Chace left Mr Walker’s house at Montreal, they took with them some small articles of Plate & two Plated Sauce Pans. The latter of these Gentlemen spoke to Mr Walker as they passed through Albany refer’d him, for them to the former just as they wer stepping into a vessel Down to N.York The Vessel saild instantly, & gav no opportunity to Mr Walker to speak. we expect they would have been sent to us here; but we have heard nothing from them. These articles of no importance to us then, are of consequence to me now. & I should be extremely obliged to Doctor Franklin if he could procure them for me & send them address’d to you Madam, for me, who am with esteem, yr obedient servant
