The Literary and Philosophical Society of Manchester, received, by the hands of Mrs. Vaughan the valuable Present of the second Volume of the Transactions of the American Philosophical Society. We are directed by the Members to request that you would be pleased to make their grateful acknowledgments; and to beg that the American Society will accept of two Volumes of Memoirs lately published by our Body.
