Mr John Morris, Brother of Mrs Preston went to New York in the Spring of the Year 1783 with a Cargo of Goods, which he sold to good account from thence he went to Philadelphia in the Year 1785, where he made a purchase of an Estate, as he then informed his Relations. They have not heard of him Since, and are anxious to know whether or not he is living. As I would gladely oblige them I beg leave to trouble you to enquire for him; and if you can procure any Information concerning him, that you either inform them of it, at the Vicarage Sheffield, or me in Great Russell Street, Bloomsbury.
