I Receved your letter Dated the 20th Instant which gave me a great Deeal of pleashur to have a answer from your honer for I have Rote Severil leters But never have had aney answer Before when I was at Morliax I Rote two Letters But I Dont Sepose that Ever your honer Receved any of them: as thear is no Continentel Vessel In france that I Can go on Bord of I Shall make my Self as Easey as I Can on Bord of the Black prince Being it is your honers pleshur till you Be pleased to Send me on Bord of aney Continental Versel that is Bound to america for I have Bin from Boston S[ince] the 4 of September yer 78 and dont Sepose that my frinds have heard from me Sence I was taken out of Rhodisland preson By the Custoden But if my Captain Should hear of my gitten my Liberty and how it wold gave him g Deil of pleshur But I Dont know aney way to Informe him or my parents of it unless your honer wold to menshon me in your letters to Boston.
