Dear Sire

I have Just received your obliging favour of the 26th. Ulto. and in name of our mutual Friend Mr Hopkinson Accept my hearty thanks for the trouble of executing his orders.—The package containing the Crayon’s came Safe to hand, & its well I am to expect something Suiteable to the genious of this Gentleman to compleate his order—The additional Six Livres advanced, will be reimbursed to you by Mr. Grand, having ordered the payments, & to be charged to my acct. with him—

Such paper as I use in letter writing is to be got in Holland, & by applying to Mr Grand he will order what you want, Sending thither a quarter Sheet by way of Sample.—a quarter Sheet accompany’s this in case you have none of the kind, it will be necessary to say, whether you want it ready cutt in quarto for letters, or not.

I am pleased to hear we are to expect Capt: Jones Soon—hope he may get away in a Short time. Accept of my warmest wishes, and believe me Sincerely Dear sir Yours affectionately
