Dear Sir

The Bearer of this Letter, Mr Peter Robert Luard is calld to Paris on Business of great importance to Himself in consequence of the late capture of Grenada, as well as on some private matters of His own; in which Your advice and assistance will be essentially servicable: Altho Mr Luard is not intimately known to Me, Iam not a stranger to His worth, and cannot but comply with the request of some worthy and deserving Freind to be the means of procuring Him an introduction to You. I wish You, my good Sir, to extend your usual civility and attention towards Him; and beleive me on all occasions, to be, with the highest regard Your very obliged and obedient Servant
